Homemade Almond Milk!! This recipe has led me to stop buying almond milk completely! I love homemade almond milk because it has minimal ingredients. Many dairy-free milks sold in stores have so many additives, but this recipe is only 5 ingredients!! I also love that I can make the perfect amount, which helps reduce waste! Making your own milk may sound like a daunting task, but it is easy and SO worth it, trust me.
I use this almond milk in my Everyday Oatmeal, homemade hot chocolate, matcha lattes, baked goods, and more! This recipe is from Minimalist Baker. You can find the recipe here! I will also write it below for your convenience!

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”
Every time I read about freedom in the Bible, it really impacts me. I grew up learning about our freedoms as US citizens in school. I’ve always thought it is incredible that I am fortunate enough to live in a free country. When I came to know Jesus, however, I realized that the freedoms that our US Constitution provides us do not even come close to the freedom that Jesus provided us.
When I think about freedom, I often also think about sacrifice. Our freedom is not fully free. Many men and women, for example, sacrifice their own safety and comfortability to serve and protect our country. I have seen and heard of some of the immense sacrifices they make for our country. They are the reason that I can live in freedom in a safe country. These sacrifices, even though they are remarkable, do not even come close to Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for our sins. He is the one who TRULY allows us to walk and live in COMPLETE freedom.
I urge you all to think about the freedom that He has provided you with. Refer back to my previous post about 1 Peter 2:24 for a reminder of how the work of Calvary has set us free. How has this changed your life?
Galatians 5:13 encourages us to walk in freedom while serving others humbly in love. Live a life pleasing to God (Colossians 1:10). Do good works with the freedom He has provided. But.. Do not boast. Do not be prideful because God is the one who equips and qualifies us for all our good deeds (Colossians 1:12). Therefore, we should give thanks to Him as we serve His people.
God changes our hearts and lives when we fully accept Him as Lord and Savior. Walk in the freedom He has provided you with. Serve those around you. Love one another. Give thanks!! We serve a good good God!!!!
