My family and I have spent the past 8 years vacationing in Cape Coral, Florida since my parents bought a home there. Over the years, we have found THE BEST restaurants. I just returned from a 2 week vacation there, so I thought I would share photos of the delicious food we enjoyed while visiting multiple cities in Southwest Florida.
1. The French Press (Cape Coral)
Almost every morning, we ride our bikes to a coffee shop called The French Press in Cape Harbor. We love to get their coffee, juice, and pastries! They also have gelato!! Plus, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the marina as you drink your coffee 🙂 Pictured is the tropikale juice and an iced vanilla oat milk latte! I also LOVE the booster juice!!
2. Amore Italian Market & Bakery (Cape Coral)
We recently found an Italian market that has INCREDIBLE subs, which we enjoyed for lunch!! It is called Amore Italian Market & Bakery. They also sell bread by the loaves, Italian cookies, cheesecake, tiramisu, and so many more baked goods! Definitely recommend!! This is the turkey sub with lettuce, tomato, and mayo!
3. Lobster Lady (Cape Coral)
A Cape Coral favorite is Lobster Lady… If there is one place that you go while you are visiting SW Florida, PLEASE let it be this restaurant. They have the widest selection of the most delicious fish dishes. If you don’t like fish, however, do not worry because they offer many fish-less dishes!! Pictured is the coconut macadamia crusted snapper (AMAZING), but they also have great sushi!
4. Fathoms (Cape Coral)
If you can’t tell from the number of pictures included, we LOVE Fathoms… This restaurant is also in Cape Harbor. Not only is it close to our house, but they also have incredible food. They do half price pizzas on Wednesday nights! I got a pizza with red sauce, no cheese, tomatoes, red peppers, spinach, mushrooms, and artichokes. I also love their shrimp & vegetable dumplings, teriyaki salmon skewers (a special), tropical ahi tuna, and their house salad!! I am convinced that every single dish on their menu is pure perfection…
5. Laishley Crab House (Punta Gorda)
Laishley Crab House has the BEST sushi. This restaurant is located in Punta Gorda, but it is well worth the drive for us. Plus, there are plenty of other fun things to do in Punta Gorda as well, such as walk around/shop at Fisherman’s Village! Laishley Crab House is overlooks the beautiful ocean as well. Perfect lunch spot! Pictured above is the rainbow roll and the Ahi Tuna Bowl!! So good!
6. Harbor Scoops (Punta Gorda)
Harbor Scoops is also in Punta Gorda. It is located directly below Laishley Crab House! This is the vegan cookies and cream ice cream in a waffle cone. Yum!!
7. The Pier (Punta Gorda)
We also tried this new restaurant in Punta Gorda called The Pier. It is located in Fisherman’s Village! We got the Pot Stickers, which were great. I also ordered the Ahi Tuna Bowl! I enjoyed this meal, but I think I would choose Laishley Crab House over The Pier when visiting this area. However, they do have the best view!!
8. The Turtle Club (Naples)
I am not kidding when I say we do not eat anywhere else when we go to Naples… The Turtle Club is the best!! The restaurant is directly on the beach and overlooks the ocean… Plus, the food is AMAZING. Pictured above is the honey & almond roasted salmon.
9. SOHO Juice (Saint Petersburg & Tampa)
Okay… WOAH. SOHO Juice is the best juice/smoothie place I have ever tried!! I created my own smoothie bowl with UNLIMITED toppings, and I was blown away… They do not put any ice or fillers in their smoothies, and they offer the freshest and most nutritious ingredients!! If you like smoothie bowls, you MUST go!!
10. Cape Coral Farmers Markets
My favorite thing to do while in Florida, especially in the Winter months, is go to the local Cape Coral farmers markets! I highly recommend buying fresh produce and the BEST guacamole ever at the markets!! We found some beautifully woven baskets last time we were there too! They are every Saturday and Tuesday.
